This typographic illustration was created as a playful poster to The Black Dog Tavern Company, an iconic East Coast brand known for its adventurous spirit and coastal roots. Using the company’s signature slogan, "Life Off Leash," as the visual centerpiece, I recreated their logo on Adobe Illustrator entirely from words and phrases associated with canine charm and personality—like “Wigglebutt,” “Good Dog,” and “Goober.” Each word was carefully placed to mirror the form and energy of a joyful dog at play, capturing the free-spirited essence of the brand.
The bold, high-contrast type and minimal color palette reflect The Black Dog's classic aesthetic, while the lighthearted text arrangement adds a whimsical, modern twist.
